Day in and day out we scroll through our Newsfeed on Facebook and our Tweets on Twitter look for the latest and greatest news to include on our Facebook pages. Us Community and Content Managers yearn for something big to happen such as College Football or National Watermelon Day. There are resources that we could all use and slow up even the largest Mac Lion or Leopard such as StumbleUpon. But, what about a quick fix, like an energy efficient lightbulb? The easiest way to find content is in the following three steps.
1. For all those funky unique holidays out there try this website out. I must admit they may (as in they do) need some help with their website.
2. People love fun facts. Check out the one and only New York Times and their On This Day in History landing page.
3. If you don’t use Google Alerts already, you should. Let me repeat, you should be using Google Alerts. It is simple, add in what you want Google to find for you daily and then either have it sent to your Google Reader or email.
